About
Experience
I attended Western Washington University, graduating Cum Laude in the Spring of 2003 with a BA in Business, concentration in Management Information Systems. I have over 10 years experience developing databases, deploying websites, and have even setup VSATs in remote areas of Tanzania. Those years of experience have covered a multitude of disciplines ranging from technical documentation, database design, graphics, testing, and deployment. Most recently I have found myself working with PHP and WordPress.
I am a huge advocate for Atlassians collaboration tools and the open method of conducting business they provide. I have been the administrator of a wiki installation for the past few years using Atlassian’s Confluence at my day job as well as the admin for Atlassian’s Jira.
Technologies I work with:
- Flash
- Flex
- AIR
- Actionscript
- Javascript
- PHP
- XML
- CSS
- HTML
- MySQL
- SQL

Philosophy
Don’t live your life conforming to rules laid out by our society and the media. Write your own script, your own lines. You only have one life to live, one chance at every day. Don’t try to fill a role you have set up for yourself, worrying about what others think, giving strangers so much power over your life as to influence you in how you live the one life you have been given. Every moment is a gift from above and should be treasured as we are not owed anything. These words, like many others you have read before, are now yours to do with what you will.
- discovered in a book at a hostel while traveling in Australia, 2003.
