Wiring your house for ethernet -

Jeff November 9th, 2006

Having just wired my house for internet, I figured I would post the links that were the most helpful. It would have been very handy if my condo wasn’t sitting an a slab and had some crawl space but we managed…

This site was helpful in reminding me which way to wire the cables as it had been awhile; I went with the “Straight-Through Cable Pinout for T568B” configuration.  This link gives a great picture of how to crimp the wire and I used the info here to remember how to wire the plugin.

I didn’t have to do cut away the floorboards but these links may be helpful if someone has the ability to do that.  (Would be much easier than what I had to do).
